A nice simple and rustic Gyuto with beautiful cladding and boxwood handle combo. The blade like the others from this batch is forged a little thicker but grind with littlle higher and flatter bevels, still with a sweet convexity toward the edge. It give the blade a bit more weight, it feels strong, but it still cut very well and strong from heel to tip. The cladding is "dirty" wrought iron : it got slag and small delams in the material itself. Just so you buy with clear view : this one got a little delam toward the heel, left side and another one on spine close to the tip. Nothing big and bad, but better to mention it. The material gives a lovery character to the blade with a beautiful banding too.
