Gyuto

Forged in San Mai "dirty" wrought iron + 135cr3 steel core.

Kurouchi and stone polished bevels with natural Japanese stone, finished on a fine Nakayama stone

The length of the blade is 220mm, the height at the heel is 53mm, the thickness is 5.1 to 1mm on the spine before the tip, 186 grams.

The handle is octogonal shape, made of local walnut and brass

A very easy to use blade with nice dynamic geometry from heel to tip. It's made with a beautiful dirty wrought iron that have crazy contrast between its layers, like a damascus clad. As other "dirty" wrought iron I am proposing, there is slag and small delams in the material itself. This one had quite a delam at the heel above shinogi. Blade was grind and brush to remove that and is ok now.
