Sale by Random Draw

These knives will be sold through random draw. If you want to buy one of these knives, you have to register to my newsletter. I will make a random draw of all the people registered and who subscribed to the form (link is given inside newsletter). I will then select the person who will buy one of  these knives by random draw.

 

This system allows my customers to acquire one of my knives without having the pressure to be the fastest. Please don't participate if you're not committed to buy that knife.

The price is shipping not included and saya not included.

Description :

Paring knife

Forged in San Mai "clean" wrought iron on clad, 135Cr3 on the edge.

Kurouchi.
Stone shaped and stone polished bevels, finished on a japanese natural stone and final with finger stones.

Blade length is 90mm, 26mm height at heel, 4-1.5mm thickness on spine before tip, 66 grams.

The handle is octogonal, made of boxwood burl and brass collar.

A paring knife that I am making since my beginning in 2011. I was making that knife in XC70 steel (0.7% carbon) and a satin finish. Here is a san mai and stone polished version. A small almost innocuous object which will reveal its unique character in your hand.

Forged in San Mai "dirty" wrought iron on clad, 135Cr3 on the edge.

Kurouchi.
Stone shaped and stone polished bevels, finished on a japanese natural stone from Nakayama

Blade length is 185mm, 49mm height at heel, 4.5-1.8mm thickness on spine before tip, 210 grams.

The handle is octogonal, made of boxwood burl and brass collar.

A larger knife for everyday cooking, a little chef or a little Gyuto. A compact format with a rigid, sturdy blade and a strong cutting bevel. The contrast between wrought iron and 135Cr3 steel is superb on the bevels.
