Forged in San Mai twisted damascus clad + 135cr3 steel core

Kurouchi and stone polished bevels with natural Japanese stone, finished on a fine stone from the Nakayama mine.

The length of the blade is 218mm, the height at the heel is 53mm, the thickness is 4.6 to 0.8mm on the spine before the tip, 179 grams.

The handle is oval, made of acacia burl and stainless steel.

Of the other 4 gyutos,it's the shortest blade with a cutting edge of 218mm. A thin and light knife, very handy. The twisted damascus pattern appears under the kurouchi and get revealed on the finely stone-polished bevels.
